Silk Duvet Size Guide: Which Size Fits My Duvet Cover?
Quick answer: choose a silk duvet that matches the size of your duvet cover, not your mattress. If your cover is from IKEA (86×86" Queen, 102×86" King), choose our IKEA sizes. If it's from QE Home, Sleep Country, Brooklinen or Parachute (about 90×90" Queen, 106×90" King), choose our Standard sizes. Covers bought in China usually measure 200×230 cm or 220×240 cm, and we make those sizes too.

How to measure your duvet cover
- Check the care label first. Many covers list their exact size.
- If not, lay the cover flat and measure the width from seam to seam, then the length.
- Pick the silk duvet that is the same size or a few centimetres smaller. A duvet that is bigger than its cover will bunch up.
Why IKEA sizes are different
IKEA covers are about 10 cm (4") narrower and shorter than most North American Queen covers: 86×86" versus 90×90". A standard Queen duvet stuffed into an IKEA cover will bunch at the edges, and an IKEA-size duvet in a 90×90" cover leaves empty space along the sides. That's why we make both.
FAQ
I have a Brooklinen Twin cover (64×90"). Which size should I choose?
Choose our IKEA Twin. It's the same width and about 10 cm (4") shorter, so it fills the cover without bunching.
My cover says Full/Queen. Is that Queen?
Usually, yes. Brooklinen and Parachute Full/Queen covers are about 90×90", so choose Standard Queen. IKEA's Full/Queen is 86×86", so choose IKEA Queen.

Will the duvet move around inside my cover?
No. Every silk duvet has 8 corner loops that tie to the ties inside your cover. If your cover has no ties, use duvet clips at the corners.
